At Palmetto Commercial Services, we are deeply committed to advocating for our community’s senior citizen population through various outreach programs. We provide specialized senior housing cleaning services, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our elderly residents. Our team also dedicates time to educating senior housing communities on best practices for maintaining clean and healthy living spaces. By sharing our expertise, we empower these communities to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and care, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for all senior residents.

In addition to our cleaning services, we assist seniors with moving residences, understanding the challenges and stress that come with relocation. We work closely with local DSS and housing compliance authorities to address housing-related issues, ensuring that our elderly clients receive the support they need. Our continual advocacy extends beyond cleaning; it encompasses every aspect of ensuring that our senior citizens live in safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes. 

Palmetto Commercial Services is more than just a cleaning company; we are a dedicated partner in enhancing the lives of our community’s seniors.

PCS is now offering one resident per month of Richland County in South Carolina up to 15 hours of extreme cleaning, organizing and debris removal.  

In order to apply for this services, the customer needs to be:

• A resident of Richland County currently
• Must sign a waiver allowing PCS to assist with services
• Must want PCS to help – if a customer decides during the process that they do not want our assistances, PCS will stop services
• Must not be able to afford services
•  Must not be in need of emergency services
• Must list the time frame for having the work completed
• Must agree to maintain the areas after the work is completed
• Fill out a Free Quote request at the top right corner of the page (choose Senior Housing as the service)
• PCS will provide cleaning chemicals, trash bags, cleaning equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all jobs
• PCS will provide a box truck for removing unwanted items on the jobs, but will not remove hazardous materials
• No phone call or text messages will be accepted regarding these services

Priority is given to the following residents:

• Previous military, first responder or EMS service
• Homes with one or more pest control issues
• Homes working with a pest control company to get the pest control issues resolved (PCS will work with the pest control company)
• Homes that have not previously received assistance
• Homes that need more than basic cleaning services

The PCS leadership team will review each request received between the first and last day of each month and will notify the winner in writing.  PCS will schedule the cleaning services on a day and time that works for both the resident and Palmetto Commercial Services.

All candidates must fill out a quote request on the website.  

If a candidate is not chosen, the candidate can re-apply the following month.

We will not accept phone calls or texts regarding these services.

PCS fully expects to expand this program to surrounding counties in 2026.  Expansion will depend on the number of applicants
